__Pasta of your choice (for the base)
__Vegetables, chopped (whatever you want, no combo is "weird". My go-tos: onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms, garlic, & kale or any other dark leafy green)
__garlic powder, medium layer
__thyme, medium layer
__oregano, light layer
__basil, light layer
__rosemary, light layer
__black pepper, light layer
__salt, light layer
Optional add-ins:
__freshly chopped garlic, 2-5 cloves
__balsamic vinegar, 1-3 spoonfuls
Measurement Key:
Spoonful = 1 teaspoon (tsp)
Light layer = 1/2 - 1 tablespoon (tbsp)
Medium layer = 1.5 - 2 tablespoons (tbsp)
Heavy layer = 3 - 4 tablespoons (tbsp)
How To
Step 1
Chop & season vegetables (except for salt)
Step 2
Roast veggies at 375 degrees fahrenheit for about 20 minutes
OR
Saute with a little vegetable broth on medium low heat for about 15-20 minutes
OR
Steam for 7 to 10 minutes (if steaming potatoes, about 15 minutes)
Step 3
Boil water for pasta & prepare sauce
Step 4
Cook pasta as needed (usually 8-12 minutes) strain water when finished.
Step 5
Add salt. Assemble your bowl & enjoy!
